The fast f/1.4 maximum aperture excels in low-light conditions and provides precise control over focus when using shallow depth of field techniques. A Nano AR II Coating minimizes surface reflections, flare, and ghosting, improving contrast and color accuracy in bright lighting. The rounded 11-blade diaphragm delivers smooth, pleasing bokeh for selective focus. The optical design now includes two XA elements to reduce “onion ring” bokeh and effectively control astigmatism, field curvature, coma, and other spherical aberrations.
